For some years I have used the swimmer to represent connecting with, immersing oneself in, nature. In 2023 I am developing this imagery further, playing with reflections seen from under the water, blurring the swimmer and sea.

I aim to portray the cool, green stillness of feeling water and light wrap around you, support you; the simple, sensual delight of  swimming in the sea.
